Hi Jane,

The subscriber list can be blocked from being updated by some caching or optimization plugins so either you need to disable such plugins or better option is to use the newsletter plugin like mailchimp and place their form anywhere on the homepage or/and in the footer as a widget.

Hi - I am wanting to use the newsletter widget in the footer for people to sign up to a subscriber list.

When I enter an email address from the homepage, I get a message to say the address is subscribed, however when I export the subscriber list (from the link in the widget), the address is not being added.

What am I missing here - I can't find anything in the documentation explaining how to get this working.
