To display your Instagram images in footer please make sure you have installed & activated the WP Instagram Widget plugin in your Dashboard > Plugins.
Within your WP dashboard navigate to Appearance > Customize > Footer Settings > Instagram.
In "Instagram Username" field type in your username and click on "Publish" at the top to save the settings.
